Belated 2006 New Year Post Part 2

Follow up, follow up. Like primary school children, we must write the essay according to topic. Once off topic, teacher will minus marks. Then, there won't be any stars on your essay paper, when all your others schoolmate got. So, must stick to the point.

As for me, i never get any stars.

Anyway, on 1st of January, i was still in Seremban. I wanted to watch Zhen's brother perform with his band in Terminal One. It's a shopping center actually, before Jaya Jusco was open for business in Seremban 2, Terminal One was like the most happening place in the whole Seremban. Serious!

So, i snapped a few pictures of them while they were performing. Their band name: GM5



Group pictures cannot see properly rite? No problem. Here's a close-up. First, let's have a look at the lead vocal.



If you find her familiar looking, you probably have seen her on TV. Where? Recall Malaysian Idol season 1 & 2. She's in both but couldn't make it to the last 10.

So, here they are, a newly formed band, GM5. By the way, i forgot to mention. Zhen's brother is the drummer. Cool rite?

Their band-coordination is very well, but they lack the "umph!!" while performing. They looked so tensed, like they ain't enjoying themselves performing there. Loosen up a bit then it will look much better.

Anyway, other then GM5, there's also another band performing that same day. Too bad i kind of forgot their name already, but they are cool too. Here's a picture of them.



But i personally think their performance was kinda cool. Their selection of songs is young but they sort of give me the feeling they lack practice together. Not much of sound coordination overall. Everything was way too loud. However, i notice the basist. I love the way he perform. He enjoyed performing on stage was my first thought.
