Farewell Lunch with......

Actinium Network.

Yesterday was the last day of my internship in Actinium Network. So, having bonded very well with the team working permanently there, we had a get together lunch to celebrate our leaving.

Team Actinium

Yea, i know. It's a happy thing for them too, since we always cause troubles for them. Now that we are gone, so they no need do double the work lor. Hehe....

Since lunch hour was short, we went Alamanda, the nicest choice near enough for us to go to.

This time, we went Pizza Hut.

Having a total of 12 of us, we ordered quite a lot of food.

For starter, of course it would be the soup and the bread.

Mushroom Soup
Bread-Stick

For drink.....like i got the choice wor....

Pepsi

For pizza, we ordered the new Atlantis pizza, the classic Hawaiian Chicken, the never tried before Asam Laksa pizza, and my all time favourite Island Supreme.

Atlantis
Hawaiian
Asam Laksa
All time favourite

Not that i'm boasting myself of knowing what is the best service, but i really would say that Pizza Hut Alamanda Putrajaya got the worst service efficiency & quality in all the Pizza Hut outlet i've gone to before.

Fine. Let it go. Let it go

Before we left, i wanted to give a chance to them to prove they are worthy of any praises at all. So, i ask the waiter who took our order to help us took a picture. It's either he's damn scared that he's shaking or he's a lousy photographer.

Shakey Hands

So we left, and coincidentally, there's a lion dance at Alamanda that day. So unexpected. It's been a few years i never saw a lion dance before. So i think i'm going to be damn lucky this year.

Lion Dance
Lion Dance
Lion Dance

The lion dance was spectacular. The lion was really nice. The stunts was quite good. But something happen in the middle of the show. They wanted to do a stunt to make it looked like the lion got 2 heads. And i took the picture a split second too early. So this isn't what you think it is, okay?

Lion Dance

The most awesome thing happened when the lion ran down the stage and start giving mandarin oranges to spectators. The lion didn't give out many, but the lion gave me one.

The lion freaking gave me a mandarin orange. I'm telling you, i'm going to be damn good luck this year. Don't gamble with me, okay?

Oranges oooo....

When lunch time was over, we went back to office to finish up our work and do some cleaning. Before the end of the day, we had another mini farewell party in the office. We drank some sparkling juice and went on a photo taking frenzy with everyone. Too bad our bosses wasn't in. We wanted to take pictures with them. Just too bad.

Anyway, i'm going ack my hometown tonight. Which also means that i might not be able to get online as often. So, see you guys after CNY, okay?

Just wanted to wish everyone a Prosperous Chinese New Year. May everyone be very healthy and wealthy this year. Those who gamble will win more. Those doing business will earn more.

Thanks Thanks & Thanks

This will be kind a short post. I mean at least shorter than those i previously posted up.

I got a new header picture, and Christyn say she liked it. I'm contented she got no complaint over it. She keep telling me the bright-green picture with red wording is damn ugly not nice. She keep telling me it's too bright, it's too green, and the red wordings are too red.

So now, after changing the header picture, she tell me she liked it. Do you like it?

Well, i didn't design the picture of course. First of all, i cant read chinese. Secondly, i'm a square, boring person with no creativity at all. So, it would be impossible for me to design the header.

That is why, i wish to acknowledge my friend, NeoX, for being so open heartedly sending me her design. I hope she don't mind me using it this way. So, before any official lawyer letter arrived at my doorstep, i want to acknowledge that this is her work. Hopefully she sue me over sexual harrassment something else.

And then, i would like to thank Christyn for giving me opinions on the background. If you think it's not nice or damn ugly. Blame her.

Kidding lar. Don't blame her lar. She's innocent. She just give me her opinions only. I'm the one who decide to use it in the end, rite? So if not nice, please tell me, okay. Then, i'll know i have successfully annoyed someone again.

The main "thank you" i wanted to say out today, will be for my fellow colleagues in my internship company, Actinium Network. We went lunch just now in Alamanda. They were all so kind to treat us to pizza at Pizza Hut.

Of course got take picture lar. But i havent edit them yet. Still in my PC. Of course lor, i'm still in office now. This will be the last time i'm blogging in the office.

Just want to thank you everyone for everything. Being very touchy-wouchy now. So, if you think i'm gay, yes, i'm feeling gayish now. So, everyone just put your hand in the air and shout HEY~!~!~!~!

Pre-CNY Dinner 1

I know. I miss a day's post again. I know. I'm sorry.

Actually i wasn't at home. i went for dinner. With the guys.

Home made steamboat at Block-C. Well, it's not those super nice environment with awesomely good food and chick waitress. But it sure is a happy experience yet again.

Their house, i must say, got the most CNY feel in the whole Cyberia, even though it looked just like this.

Gung Hei Gung Hei

Chinese New Year is near. Industrial training is over for most of us. What more reasons needed to celebrate over, rite? So steamboat it is.

Well, the main attraction of the night was the fish fillet and chicken fillet. The rest of the food are the usual menu food: sausages, fish-ball, pork-ball, crab-stick, vegetables, bla bla bla bla bla......

Fish Fillet
Chicken Fillet

Altogether, there was 11 of us only, since the rest are in Penang. i think they are having their won version of reunion dinner as well. Well, since 11 is not a small number, and most of us are fat hungry beast starving, two pots of soup are prepared.

Pot Pot Pot Pot

When the soup is boiled, everyone just sat down quietly, obediently like school children and....*munch munch munch*

Munch Munch

If you got thirsty or felt that the chili sauce is too hot for you and you asked for drinks, ir's either you get a limited flow of orange juice, or unlimited flow of beer.

I'm thirsty...!!

I forgot how many rounds we go when some of us finally got filled up. I couldn't eat anymore as well. So we played game like we always do, where the loser will need to eat a piece of food from the pot. The last time we played cards, this time we played darts.

Darts

When all the food in the pot finally finished, it's cleaning up time before moving on to the next item in the agenda. When they were cleaning, i realize they finish a whole carton of beer. Bear in mind that there are 24 cans of beer in a carton. I didn't drink much, half a can maximum. Which means the rest of the guys finished the whole carton.

Beer Pyramid
Beer Pyramid 2

When everyone finally got ready, it's time for the main attraction of the night. This is something Chinese people do since the beginning of our Chinese civilization, and here we are, conserving the culture of us Chinese.

Traditional Game

Err....although during ancient Chinese civilization they don't have cards but you know what i mean rite?

Dinner with....

SherLi.

Actually her name doesn't spell that way, but it rhymes that way. And it looks nicer that way too. So i decided to put to this spelling instead of the original one. =P

Hey, i'm not being disrespectful, okay. i'm just.....you know. Hiao.

Yeah, this was last night actually. Saturday night.

This dinner should actually took place last week instead of this week, but our main character, SherLi, is so busy that she don't have time to reply out invitations. So fine. At least she replied the sms this week. Better late than never, rite?

So, Bumbz and i took bus to Alamanda Putrajaya. It's the most-nicest shopping area in Putrajaya+Cyberjaya. Serious. The reason is it's the only shopping area around. The interior, well, imagine u cut down KLCC to 25% the size. That is how freaking small big Alamanda is.

Alamanda Putrajaya

Not the best place to dine though. The choices are limited here, but they do have Manhattan Fish Market, Secret Recipe, Starbucks and fast food like McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, A&W...bla bla bla bla

So, at first we walked into a Indonesian Restaurant with very nice ambient. The tables & chairs are classy, the lights are dim. The menu, however, is not understandable. I mean, it's not like you can find "Nasi Goreng Kampung" or "Rendang Ayam" in the menu. Instead, you'll find some weird names like "Gado-gado". So, at that time, we looked at each other thinking should we leave?

We left.

It was embarrassing, yes. But it's better then eating some weird food with weird names right?

So we moved on to the next place we thought might be easier to make a choice of food. Secret Recipe.

Secret Recipe

Of course, the food here will be more familiar for the 3 of us. So when the menu came, straight away i look for the recommendation of a friend of mine. Lamb chop.

Menu

The gals, well, they ordered the same food, which i forgot the name. The meal includes a chicken chop with some rice & salad. Yea, i think it's the one you're thinking. Yea. Something that looked like this.

Chicken chop+rice+salad meal
Upclose view

According to Bumbz, the rice is like oil rice with no taste. So i assume the rice fails the taste test. The salad, of course tasted decently as salad. The chicken chop, she got no complaints about. So overall, it's edible with not-so-nice-taste rice.

For me, as a red meat lover, i ordered lamb-chop of course. Not the award winning lamb-stew but lamb-chop.

Lamb-Chop
Lamb-chop upclose view

Well, it doesn't look very appetizing, but taste wise, it's kinda nice though. It comes with some mix vegetables & mashed potato. However, this lamb is the fattest lamb i've ever eaten so far. And the meat is a little too well-done-ed. Still, i would still say it's a nice dish.

And then, i want to say that i'm jealous over SherLi. Why?

She owns Nokia N90.

Nokia N90
Nokia N90

Damn it. In fact, her bf & her each owned one. Damn it. I want one too.

Nite Mix Wine

A new craving in life. Nite Mix Wine.

Yeah, i know those alcoholic fans might say i'm a sissy drinking stuff like this. But hey, i'm not a heavy drinker of any sort. And i can't take much tomato. If you had read Bumbz post some few weeks back, i'm sure you'd read her stating i looked like a tomato after the drink.

No, i'm not drunked. Serious. I'm as sober as every other time. Just that i goes red. Really RED.

The other day, Bumbz & me went MidValley for a shopping day. I didn't mention anything about the drink. After tasting it, i think it's worth a post to write about anyway.

Behold. Nite Mix Wine.

Nite

Comes in 4 flavouring; Eden Apple, Passionate Orange, Strawberry Delight, & Lemon Fizz Cool.

I've only tried the Lemon Fizz Cool, during sampling, it doesn't taste very nice. Bought home the Eden Apple instead. It was nice. Tonite will be drinking Passionate Orange for a change. Should be nice.

Don't worry, i'm not drinking because i'm not happy. Just trying out new things. That's all. Nothing to worry about.

I actuallybought this drink from Alamanda Putrajaya just now when i went to have dinner with Bumbz and my ex-employee-cum-friend, SherLi. Tell you about the dinner on tomorrow's post, okay?

For now. NITE.

She's going.....

Just got back from supper with Ah-Jeh & OBK after we helped Ah-Jeh moved some of her stuffs to her brother's house in Puchong. Well, when Ah-Jeh ask me to give her a hand in moving the stuffs, i thought it would be a lot of things to move. I thought i might get a chance to exercise a little, sweat a little. Then all she packed to move this time is this.

Some Stuffs

Err.......i didn't even break a sweat.

But it's not really her fault. Just that the car couldn't fit any more than this. So the next time when Ah-Jeh move again, she'll need to move a lot since her room still got A-LOT of stuffs.

Anyway, after moving the things, which happened in a flash, we went supper at some mamak stall in Puchong area since Ah-Jeh haven't take her dinner yet. So we went here.

Kueenz

This time somehow the waiter was very friendly with us. OBK joked that it might be due to the reason that i had a camera with me, so they thought i might be a foor critic or journalist from some magazine.

So we took the menu, and choose our food from inside.

Menu

Of course, as a Tosai lover, i ordered tosai. Not just tosai, but cheese tosai.

Cheese Tosai in Menu

First come the drinks. Limau-Ais is mine, Milo-Ais is OBK's, and Orange is Ah-Jeh's.

Cheerz

We were talking for a little while and then my cheese-tosai arrived. It's looks kinda nice, but for a cheese tosai, it sure tasted nothing near cheesy. It tasted just like tosai, without the cheese.

Tosai Cheese

Then Ah-Jeh's roti mayonese & OBK's roti pisang arrive together. Ah-Jeh's roti mayonese tasted like roti salad which ran out of mayonese. From the name of the food, it would sound that mayonese is the main taste character here, but no. The salad are.

Roti Mayonese

OBK's roti pisang. He didn't complain about it. But the fact that he always swallow his food down so fast he's always the first person to finish his meal, aren't that way this time. I doubt that the roti pisang is near to anything nice as well.

Roti Pisang

On our way back, we talked a lot on a lot of things. Bitch about some people's attitude. Crap about some people's bad habit. Talk bad about some people. Laughed at some people.

The we reached Cyberia in no time.

Ah-Jeh is moving next week. Going to miss her. A lot. So i would like to dedicate this post to her. Hoping that everything will turn out great for her starting this very moment.

Aiyor, Sorry Lor

I know lar i didn't write blog yesterday. Don't angry at me leh. Is like this wan.

I wanted to write about how un-fillial people are with their parents nowadays but after i write half-way through, i realize i was talking crap again. So i deleted everything.

Then i wanted to blog about how innocent a couple is to be defined as innocent. Bumbz will know what i'm talking about lar, since i everyday chat with her wan. But then i find it kinda sensitive leh. Some more like rated 18sx like that. So after i wrote a paragrapgh, i deleted everything again.

Then, when i think a little, it's going to be CNY next week. I got a report to hand out once the semester starts. I'm not even half-way through it. I'm currently rushing my report everyday in the office. Hoping i can finish it before i go back ipoh for CNY. i don't want to do report during CNY leh. So cham meh?

Then i thought when i went home at night, i will take some random shots of my house then talk about the place that i live. After snapping some pics, i was thinking to save them to my computer. Then my pc don't know why automatically shut down. Not once. Not twice. But three times. All this happened when i'm trying to watch ONE freaking episode of Lost.

Then i couldn't take it anymore. I'm sure it's not my pc's problem it keeps restarting. I'm certain. After the first time, i observe what happens moment before my pc will restart. Then when the second time comes, i notice it's from the power plug that i'm using. Then when my pc restarted the 3rd time. I'm damn sure that it's the plug.

No choice but to change it to another power point. Then do this do that. Then took my bath. Then it's time to DotA again. So in the end, i didn't manage to post up anything for yesterday.

I'm posting now lor, coz tonite i'll need to help my ah-jeh to move her stuffs. She's moving to Puchong.

*pouted-lips, tears flowing down my cheek*

i hate to see her leave. But i can't do anything to stop that. i know she doesn't want to leave too, but there's nothing i can do to help her. What should i do? How can i face her?

Nah, exaggerating again lor. Just wanted her to know, i'm gonna miss her a lot a lot after she moved out. Hope got more chances to visit her before i graduate, bcoz after that, chances to meet her will be more scareced.

As for later in the afternoon, i'll be rushing my ITP report again. Then i might snap some pics of my office area. See see i got chance to post it up or not lar later.

Ok lar, enough clarification. Start doing report again. Currently at 1035am, i'm already into 15 pages of body content. Ganbatte~!~!~!~!

Homosexual? Transexual?

I was on my way to work this morning, and as usual the radio is on. The show was talking about some gender issue, like transexuality & homosexuality.

This make me wonder, do i have any discrimination in any form towards those who are more prone to being a transexual or a homosexual?

Well, i guess i have no problem with homosexuality. Since Elton John got married never triggered my nerves. I don't (know) if any of my friends are homosexual, be it a guy or a gal, since no one told me they are one. There are of course rumours that some particular person is queer, but no hard proof on anyt claims.

So, am i prone to discriminate against homosexuality? Are you?

One question leads to another. What action i do will i be consider to be discriminative against someone? Is is treating a particular "gay" person in an exceptionally bad way considered? Or is it treating them with a whole different personality of myself in front of them?

My rationale self keeping mumbling to me, telling me i am not a discriminative person. Gay or not, they are a human being as well. They have sins, so do we. So, why discriminate since they are no difference then us?

But yet, the devil sitting in my head just tell me "Yeah, rite~!~!". I cannot fully persuade myself that i do not discriminate against homosexually prone people.

Asking myself, would i share a room with a homosexual friend on a trip? i think through this question for awhile before deciding that i would. Yes, i would share a room with a homosexual friend of mine. Why? Two reasons.

The first would be, i trust my friends. I have confidence that all my friends are trustworthy people.

The second reason would be, i'm not attractive enough for anything to happen homosexual people are not animals. They don't go humping anyone that goes in their way.

*scratch head*

How about transexuality? Transexual comes from the word "transition" and "sex". Combining the words, it means transforming your gender. The general public often defines "a transsexual" as someone who had or plans to have a sex change surgery.

Now, why would someone born with one gender wants to change it to another one?

Now let's say you are a gal (if you are already a gal, please ignore the "IF"), and you are on a company business trip with your colleague, who is a transexual, changing his gender from a HE to a SHE. Since the company only have limited funds allocation, you would need to share the same room with your colleague. Do you feel alright with that? Or would you rather fork out your own money to get another hotel room?

Which of these decissions make you are discriminative person? Which one don't?

I'm pretty sure i'm most fine with transexuality actually. Nothing about them bothers me too much. Just the curiosity of the reason behind them for doing so. Is it psychological needs? Emotional perhaps? Or are there other reasons?

Does writing this entry makes me a discriminative person towards homosexuality & transexuality? I'm certain that many now will believe that they have no grudge or hate or whatsoever negative feelings towards these groups of people. But believe & actually being what you believed in, can sometimes be hard to achieve.

I'm sure a lot of people out there have certain prejudice against certain race of peple, stating that they are lazy, or they are the ones who usually commit crimes, or they are low class people. i categorized this kind of thinking as discrimination, although most of them told me that they don't think they are discriminating anyone in anyway, but merely telling the truth.

This entry is like a metaphor for me to talk about several types of discriminations, be it discrimination against homosexuality, transexuality, or being a racist, sexist and etc. Many people are being discriminative towards other people, but they don't realize it, or even worst, they don't admit it even though they realized it.

Of course everyone had their reasons for being the way they are. In fact, try look at things from a few different points of view sometimes instead of just one & jump straight into conclusion. Maybe the world might just be a better place to live in.

Life is Like a Dream?

The weekend have just gone with the wind. But i'm glad it's gone because it was a boring one.

Despite having a lot of time to rest, i had too much time to rest actually. Friday night was movie night at Bumbz place. We watch a 2005 comedy from Jim Carrey & Tea Leoni.

Fun with Dick & Jane.

I'm damn certain not many people know of this movie. I'm pretty damn sure of it, coz i don't even know such show exists, until Bumbz brought home the VCD.

It's about an honest-play-by-the-rule guy, Dick Harper (Jim Carrey), who was living an American Dream - until it becomes a nightmare. When the company that Dick works for becomes involve in a scandal of cheating it's employee's money, Dick & his wife, Jane (Tea Leoni), was on the verge of losing everything they own.

So, when things get from bad to worst, Dick decided he got no other choice but to play not by the rules anymore. If stealing is good enough for his boss, then it's good enough for him as well.

The front half of the movie was suppose to be sad and sappy, because they were so poor they don't even have money to pay their water bill. But then, Bumbz & i were still laughing. So inhumane.

However, the 2nd half of the movie was funny. It's not hillarious but it tickles. This movie is actually worth a laugh after all.

Saturday was day out with OBK & friends. OBK wanted to to get something from Lowyat, so having nothing to do at home, i tagged along. Bumbz got go also, since she also nothing to do at home.

It wasn't suppose to be a shopping day wan, but in the end leh, i bought a pair of shoes from Camel Active. I should tahan myself wan, but then hor, i cannot lor. Coz i think i need another pair of shoes also lar. Since everyday also i wear the same pair of Puma, it's time to get get another pair of shoes jor.

Then, when we went McDonald's again for dinner, both the gals ordered fillet o'fish. OBK ask why gals like fish so much. i thought it's less fattening. In fact it is less fattening compared to beef. You don't believe me? Click here.

But then why gals like it so much, only gals know. But less fattening is my guess, and it seems that i was wrong. So, you tell me about it, ok?

Sunday was gaming+anime+tv series+movie day.

Game: DotA

Anime: Bleach, +Blood

Series: Surface

Movie: SAW 2

DotA was as usual, got win got lose, so nothing special to talk about it. Besides, i don't review games and DotA is like so next-door to everyone now.

Bleach episode 63-64 is put and i just watch it over the weekend. +Blood is until episode 14 but i've only watched until episode 10.

Surface episode 12 is out. The plot is getting more & more complicated, which also means it's getting more & more interesting. Damn this sea monster series is good~!~!~!

SAW 2 was gross, unless you find pain & torture and lots and lots of blood isn't. If you didn't watch SAW (like me), you should get at least a glimpse of this movie. It's smart the way the plot was set up, and it's scary enough, although some part doesn't make sense.

Boring isn't it?

*Yawn*

Male Bonding Session

This is a belated post from last Tuesday. This is the one where i went out with my housemates to One Utama for some shopping. Yeah, the one where i walked whole day just to get a t-shirt and a polo t-shirt. No pants.

NO PANTS~!~!~!

The one i finally like don't even have my size. No lar, i'm not fat, and that's the problem. They got bigger sizes when i wear 30 inches waist. Fine. Fed up jor. I already decided to wear my old jeans this year. Don't care jor.

Anyway, we set out to 1U quite late that day. So we went for lunch at a food court in SS24. Nothing much special about this place. Food court with a lot of seats, a lot of choices. That's all. I ordered Curry Noodle & Chinese Tea.

Tea
Noodle

That time was already 3pm. After lunch, it's already time for our main focus of the day. Shopping. *Wheeeeee~!~!~!~!*

As usual, jam when you try to get into 1U, jam again when you try to get out.

1U
Jam

Mission for the day: Shopping for Chinese New Year clothes.

Team Member: OBK, JL, KF, ChiM

JL was the one that bought the most clothings that day. He got a few shirts, even pants also got his size, when he's even thinner than me. NOT FAIR~!~!~!

KF bought a few t-shirts too, and a very nice jacket/coat for a very low price.

OBK bought some shirts, long sleeves and also the very nice jacket/coat that's the same with KF.

I, being the most pity, only got myself 1 bloody t-shirt and 1 bloody dog colar shirt.

O.-

Our dinner was at a very nice mamak at SS24 as well. i think someone had already blog about this place before, so don't wana do any review about it. It's the place somewhere near the LKW old campus, famous for their Ribena Lychee & pasta.

Guess you already know which mamak, rite?

And guess you already know who already blog about this place also rite?

Anyway, ordered Ribena Lychee (Duh, nice mar~!~!~!) and also Pasta Ham Cheese Black-Pepper(Yummy *drooling).

Ribena Lychee
Pasta

So, that is all about it of the day. The most funny part about the day was when my roomie, Tay, sent me an sms telling me he successfully helped me bid an AbGymnic product from Lelong, for the price of RM3.

Bloody RM3 only. WTF~!~!~!~!

AbGymnic

I can't even have a proper lunch with RM3 and here i bought ths piece of self-electrocuting piece of crap for RM3.

I remember i saw this thing once on Smartshop selling for hundred over ringgit. I wonder if it's the same one. =P
