Memoirs of 2005

2006 is just a day away. What have you in mind in celebrating it's arrival? Seriously for me, i've got no idea at all. Well, let's plan together what can i do!

Well, squeezing with a lot of people to watch a 5 minutes fireworks; done that.

Squeezing with a bunch of people to watch some idiot sing on stage; done that.

Squeezing in a car while rushing towards the place for celebration & ended up having countdown in the car; done that.

Sick at home; done that too.

Is there any suggestions as to where i can go? Stucked in Cyberjaya is a pathetic thing you know!

Pile of Pebbles

Anyway, for wrap up, i just want to post my feelings towars the year 2005. This year was, as i can remember it, the most changes i've seen in myself. Grown up maybe? Grown wild maybe? Grown bad maybe? I don't know. You tell me, kay.

Perhaps......Love?

As i said from yesterday, i want to talk something about the movie, Perhaps Love.

I've waited for a month to watch this movie, so when i finally watched it, it was something not quite what i've expected.

Parhaps Love

I've read some reviews of the movie, some short descriptions as well. So beforehand, i was imagining this movie as quite a sad movie, but since it's musical, it's not going to be those Korean-style-crying-all-the-way kind of movie. I expected it to be simple love story with broadway musical style.

Well, what's out of my expectation was, the love story part is not simple. In fact i find it complicated. Seriously complicated.

As you can see, Takeshi Kaneshiro plays a poor film student who fell in love with a poor girl (played by Zhou Xun). This girl is very ambitious into becoming a star, someone famous in the entertainment industry. So, she left the relationship to pursue her dream. The complicated part about this was, she don't mind trading her body to reach what she wants. The easiest way to become a famous actress is to be with a director.

He felt betrayed. He felt that she cheated his love. But he never forgets her. He became an actor himself eventually, and acted in the same movie as the girl. Although he loves her, he also hated her greatly. Like they say, the more you love, the more you will hate.

It's really really sad. It's still not those Korean-style-crying-all-the-way kind of movie, but it's very heartaching kind of sad. See, my vocabulary is so limited that i cannot express how that sad feeling feels like.

The sad part is when Takeshi loved the girl so much that he cannot forget her, but he know he couldn't have her. Then love becomes hate. Takeshi was very good in portraying the love & hate emotion on screen. You can really feel it in the movie.

Of course, Jacky Cheung wasn't the leading actor in this movie. He played a director who was also in love with the girl played by Zhou Xun. Well, his acting part wasn't something really impressive at all, but still, when he started to sing in the movie, he's the main character. His voice is so powerful, so clear, that the song he sang sounded so good. From Snow.Wolf.Lake to Perhaps Love, i think Jacky Cheung is in love with musical.

Overall, i find this movie very nice to watch. However, from my opinions, if you are in the following categories, i advice you not to go watch this movie. Else you will come out the cinema scolding bad words or spitting onto the movie banner or cursing Peter Chan's mother.

Don't watch this movie if you:

- don't like sad stories or musical
- dont like love stories
- don't like Takeshi Kaneshiro
- don't like Jacky Cheung
- don't like cinema
- don't have emotions
- don't have a girl/guy companion to watch with you
- are sleepy
- are not healthy
- just came back from clubbing
- just finish quarrelling with your girlfriend/boyfriend
- are a ass-hole trouble-maker

Well, you don't have to take my advice seriously, though. Since the movie is already up for soooooooooooooooo long, i think most of you guys have already watched it anyway. Well, this is what i want to talk about for this movie. I may have left out a lot of things in the movie that i didn't mention about, so i apologize for that.

It's already 7.40pm and it's time to go DSG Potluck. Again it's the end of another semester here in MMU. Until tomorrow night for another post, i shall make a move for now. Adios...!!

Christmas in Ipoh Part 2

This is the second part of the Christmas weekend i had in Ipoh. Meeting the guys was at Christmas Eve, then what am i doing the whole day for Christmas day?

I don't remember saying this but i had a very special guest with me in Ipoh this time. Of course she had appeared a lot of times, mentioned a lot of times in this blog. Yes, you already guessed correctly. She's no other but the recently birthday sunshine gal, Hui Zhen.

Well, it was kinda odd for what we did on Christmas day. What we did had nothing to do at all with Christmas. Nothing at all.

We went to a temple.

Guan Yin Dong

Well, this is "Guan Yin Dong". It's actually a cave or some sort. As it is well known, Ipoh is famous for pretty gals (leng-lui), pomelo (luk yau), Bean Sprout Chicken (nga choi gai), and caves. For this Guan-Yin Temple, this is actually my first time there.

You see, this temple is just a newly established on among the many in Ipoh. As i'm seldom in Ipoh, so when this new temple came into place, i really don't know. But anyway, it's not really completed yet. There's a lot of attractions still under construction, but there's already a lot of things to see there.

For example there's this magnificent sight of pretty face mountainous scenery behind us.

Mountain View
At mountain Top
Rumah Atap

At the foot of this mountain, there's this piece of river rock with a mystical story. It's about this piece of rock being unable to be moved from this particular spot no matter how you try. it was said that there was once they tried to move it with 2 of those "jentolak" but the 2 heavy machines fell to their knees & refuses to operate once they try to move the rock.

The story was something like that lar. I can't remember the whole story also lar. Anyway, this is the mystical river rock.

River Rock

Other than this there's a shrine where they place the souls of children who died from abortions. it's kin of creepy, honestly. I don't even dare to snap pictures there, being afraid i might capture something more than people. So no pictures of that ghostly creepy place.

Wishing Tree

Outside that shrine, there's a wishing tree. It's the type where you always see in tvb series, where gals always throw oranges tied to a stack of talisman onto a tree. Remember the scene?

Wish comes True

Evening time over, we went home for dinner and out again to watch midnight movie. Finally i get to watch Perhaps Love. I think i will talk about this movie on tomorrow's post since i feel like talking a lot about this movie. I know there had been a lot of reviews on that movie, so maybe i'll try to think something up to make it special, okay?

Christmas in Ipoh

Yo, peeps! Back to Cyberjaya again. The gatherings with the gang was fun, although Ipoh is nowhere as exciting & happening as KL. But still, relaxing is a kind of fun thing to do too.

Well, the initial plan to meet up was at a steamboat buffet place call Moven Peak, near GreenTown area. However, due to last minute booking, we couldn't get a table big enough to accomodate all of us. Therefore, we change venue. I suggested Bamboo Noodle House in Jaya Jusco Ipoh. I've never been there, but so does the rest of the guys. The food there wasn't the best but at least we can have a decent enough meal.

Bamboo Noodle House Gathering

Let me intro a bit of my friends here in the picture. From top left in clockwise direction: KL, GT, ST, Eddy, Dena, Kong, NCC, YL & me.

After that was suppose to be going to Eddy's place for BBQ & Christmas countdown. But of course at times like this, bad things always happen to make you feel damn frustrated and lose control of your temper, so that you cannot enjoy a pleasant Christmas Eve night. Same situation happened to me as well. That thing was the stupid traffic jam on top of the Jaya Jusco rooftop. It took me 1/2 hour to get out from my parking lot into the jam. Then I met some of my friends who left their car & walk away. I called them.

Me: Oi! Hui bin dou? Mm hai hui Eddy nguk kei meh?

GT: Wah! Gam sak ceh! Sak dak leu dou hai ceh lui min countdown lor!

Me: Then? Lei dei hui bin dou?

ST: Hui Y2K lor. Hou guo sak ceh lor.

Me: Ok ok. Ngo park ceh, ji hau joi call lei dei.

With that, i forced my way into a parking space. Walk out of the car & towards the lift to get out of there. We walked towards Y2K. For your information, Y2K is consider as the coolest disco/pub in Ipoh area. Of course, a day like Christmas Eve day, there would be nothing less than a countdown celebration with loads of boost, extra loud remix music, and gals with extra less clothing dancing on the tables. This is Christmas spirit.

A friend of mine told me, people nowadays don't celebrate Christmas anymore. They celebrate X-mas. I agree.

If you celebrate Christmas, shouldn't you opt for a more healthy & peaceful celebration? Shouldn't you go to church or something holy like that? I don't know, maybe i ain't a Christian. You tell me!

Anyway, after watching a whole bunch of drunked people shouting "Merry Christmas" and gals with half their butt-cheek exposing dancing on the tables, and not to mention the selection of music by the DJ that night sucks, we went on to Eddy's place to a second round gathering. Oh, before going into that, the half-butt-cheek-exposed gals was cun, and a bunch of drunked people shouting "Merry Christmas" is just plain......everyday happening!

BBQ gathering at Eddy's place. When we reached there, it was already so late that most of the other guys had already went back. So, being the late-comers, we try to finish up the rest of the food although most of us still feel full from dinner. But since it's BBQ & the time to get a chicken wing ready to eat, we'realredy feeling like we haven't eaten for ages.

BBQ

This is us BBQ in the middle of the night, making a lot of noise, but luckily the neighbours were so good they never called the police. So we also tried to behave, try our best to lower down our volume & try our best to finish up the food.

Next was present exchange time. Each of us are told to bring a small gift for exchange. Just a little something to lightens up the Christmas spirit. So, this is us with our presents =P

Present Exchange

So this is Christmas night out with the gang. Being with them sure is the most enjoyable thing during secondary school. Nothing has changed that till now. They are still the best company which i enjoy the most in my life.

Friends Forever!

Happy Birthday

It's the 23rd. It's a special day. How special? It's the birthday of a very special friend of mine. She appeared on this blog a few time, not as a blogger, but as a guest. Yes, you may remember her when i tell you her name. She's the one and only, Hui-Zhen.

Happy Birthday!

Here's a little poem to brighten up your day. It's called "Happy Birthday to a Special Friend.

Happy birthday to a special friend.
All my love to you this precious day!
Part of me knows just what I should say;
Part perhaps some deeper word would send.
You're the strand on which I silent write
Before my dreams are swept far out to sea.
In you there's room to canter and run free,
Restoring my lost sense of space and light.
To me you are a place where I can stay,
Hanging out to watch the rush of time,
Drawing in the sand a lazy line
Along which I can go my own sweet way.
You are my sun and shade, my bread and wine.

Hope you like it.

Not only is this day a special occasion to her, it's a special day for me too. Why?

Because i'm finally going back to my hometown in Ipoh. It's been like ages since the last time i got home. What's even happier is i'm going to meet my hometown friends for a gathering. This is going to be a happy time. For sure there's going to be like tonnes of pictures to see next week!

Anyway, won't be here until next Monday. So, you boys & gals, enjoy yourself this Christmas. Play safe, no matter what you play. Merry Christmas.

~ps: Santa, i hope you are coming down my specially made for you chimney back at home, kay! Don't make me ring up Mrs Clause. HOHOHO.....!!!

The One with The Riddles

Festive season is just happy times, yeah! Being just around the corner, Christmas this year means quite a lot to me. First of all, it might just be the last Christmas i'm going to celebrate with the status of a university student. Secondly, I'll be meeting with some of my buddies back at hometown for a small gathering. It's been ages ago since i last saw them. Missed them so so much. This is why it's going to be a merry Christmas!

Since it's a happy times, i would like to give everyone a short story and some riddles. Some funny craps, illogical some of them, but indeed funny they are. I'll give you boys & gals the Questions today. The answers tomorrow. Hehehe....i feel so wicked now!!

First, the story.

The Sex Life of an Electron

One night when his charge was pretty high, Micro Henry decided to try to get a cute little coil to let him discharge. He picked up Millie Amp and took her for a ride on his Mega cycle. They rode across the Wheatstone bridge, around by the sine wave, and stopped in a magnetic field by a flowing current.

Micro Henry, attracted by Millie's characteristic curves, soon had her resistance at a minimum and his field was fully excited. He laid her on the ground potential, raised her frequency, lowered her capacitance and pulled out his high voltage probe. He inserted his probe into her test socket, connected them in paralell, and began to short circuit her shunt.

Fully excited Millie Amp exclaimed, "Mho, mho, mho." With his tube operating at it's maximum peak current and her coil vibrating from the current flow, she soon reached her maximum peak potential. The excess current flow had gotten her coil hot and Micro Henry started rapidly discharging and soon had drained off every last electron.

They fluxed all night trying various connections and sockets, until Micro Henry's bar magnet had lost all of it's field strength. Afterwards, Millie Amp tried self induction and damaged her solenoid. With his batteries fully discharged, Micro Henry was unable to further excite his generator, so they ended it all by reversing polarity and blowing each other's fuses.

*Warning: Yes, the story is arrange in technical jargons, and No, it's not funny at all.

Anyway, about the riddles, here goes nothing.

Q1. What does the word "benign" mean?

Q2. Who is a Cannibal?

Q3. What can make an Octopus laugh?

Q4. Why is Six afraid of Seven?

Q5. How many seconds are in a year?

Q6. What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back?

Q7. Why do elephants have trunks?

Q8. There are 10 Fish in a pond.....one of them dies......The level of the water rises....Why?

Q9. What is the difference betweem a teacher & a train conductor?

Q10. What has 3 heads, is ugly and smells bad?

There, you have it. Ten simple questions. Drop me the answers in the comment column if you know it, okay? Let me give you some hints. Some of the answers are really illogical. So don't think of correct answers, rather, crappy answers would be better. So, let's have some fun, okay? See you tomorrow for the answers. :P

Christmas Wish-List

Now, today is already the 20th of December, which also means it's just a few days more to Christmas. So, have you done your shopping for this time of year yet? Yes? No? Well, anyway, Christmas is just a holiday to me, honestly speaking. However, i do respect those who really treat Christmas as a day to give, rather than take.

Yeah, i mean Santa of course. Who you think i was talking about? You? Heck! This Santa old man is like how old? I don't know, but he's been around like ages. He's even older than my Grandparents anyway. But i think i haven't been good enough. He never bring me any presents at all.

Or is it maybe the socks i hung by my window is kinda stinks?

Or maybe i didn't hang any socks all these years!

Wait, my house don't even have a chimney to start from, how can old man Santa get in? No wonder i don't get any presents all these years!

Now, i'm pretty sure i'm very good along the year, this year. I even installed a chimney for Santa to climb into my house. I promise i'll get a clean pair of socks. Yummy Chipsmore cookies & milk as well. I'm this nice so i think Santa should get me something this year.

Well, everyone have got a wish list, i have my own too. Here's what i want.

****************************************

Dear Santa, i've been good lately,
I hope you are free to notice me,
For my present i won't be greedy,
Maybe just send me a Lamborghini.

I hope you didn't hear wrongly,
Later you send me a Savvy,
Not that i will get angry,
Just that Lambo is cooler for me.

Or maybe send me a Ferrari,
Or at least a Honda City,
I hope you don't be stingy,
You come once a year only.

If can i also wan't more money,
Maybe let me hit lottery,
If not then just send me some jewelleries,
Diamond, emerald & red rubies.

As for my family,
Hope they don't often get sickly,
And also take care of their safety,
And please let them be more happy.

For all my friends in Uni,
I wish them to stay young & pretty,
To the guys also, not gals only,
May them stay as silly as me.

For my housemates & my roomie,
Give them awards for being nice to me,
For being kind and friendly,
And don't mind me being silly.

Friends outside Uni,
You guys are also special to me,
Got time come out for tea,
Don't forget must keep contact ni!

For my colleagues in ITP,
Hope they don't stress so easily,
Because if they get too moody,
They cannot work properly.

And for the people in other country,
I hope they won't be hungry,
Give them shelter, maybe my Oinky,
Give them joy, keep them happy.

Merry Christmas!

****************************************

I know lar my wish-list very long. Santa long time didn't send me anything mar. So i hope he one shot can compensate my loss all these years lor. Some more i got ask things for you guys also mar. I didn't selfish wor.

Anyway, an update of my plan this Christmas would be, i won't be in Cyberjaya. Instead, i will be heading home to Ipoh to meet up with some friends. Looking forward to meet them, since I can't remember when was the last time meeting them. Anyway, i hope your Christmas is enjoyable too.

Try something new this Christmas, try to give out to those you love, those you care for. This is a good chance to make a move to show them how much you care.

Have an enjoyable Christmas this year. Merry Christmas!

King Kong SUCKS

Just kidding lar. King Kong was superb. Let me dig out more words to describe the movie.

Overall Rating: Fantastic
Screenplay: Marvellous
Story-flow: Thrilling
Action Rating: Exhilarating
Ending: Touching
Naomi Watts as Ann Darrow: Gorgeously magnificent
Jack-Black as Carl Denham: Comedic
Adrien Brody as Jack Driscoll: Mind-blowing

Now, King Kong, the movie alone was all this great. Seriously. But when you watch it on Imax screen, make everything 10 times the better. Let me quote them.

"IMAX® is the largest and most exciting film format in the world. With crystal clear images, ten times larger than traditional cinema and 6-channel digital surround sound, IMAX® captivates its audience with a most exceptional film experience."

See. The theater was mammoth in size. If Kong was huge, imagine him now 10 times bigger in size. Now, that's huge. Anyway, the whole theater have up to 555 seats, with the screen size of 21 meter high by 29 meter wide.

Imax is also famous for viewing 3D films. Yes, and it's so cool as well. Try visit them to find out yourselves. However, if you are hoping to watch King-Kong in 3D, very sorry lar. Don't have. Where got 3D show for 3 hours plus wan? Sot meh? Watch till eyes also blind lar like that. So for the safety of Imax, and also for safeguarding your health, they didn't show KingKong in 3D. Some more KingKong grab the car throw that time, the car fly out the screen. Then people thought is real, then scared, then die, how?

This movie is good enough not to have 3D to suspense you. The screenplay & the cinematography alone is already doing the magic. Well done to Peter Jackson for another marvellous movie.

The story, i'm sure everyone already knows. I'm not a movie reviewer, so i'm not going to say much about the movie on my own. In case you don't know what the storyline is about, at all, then try visit HERE for more information.
Quote from the movie:

Mr Hayes: Run Jimmy, run! Arrgghh....!!

Another scene:

King-Kong: *Roarr....Rooarr...!!*
Ann Darrow: Arrghh....!!

Another scene:

Carl Denham: Herb didn't die for nothing. He died doing what he believed in. He died believeing there's still a piece of mystery left in this world. Now the world can see it.....for the price of an admission ticket.

Jack Driscoll: Why would i write for you? Isn't it obvious?

So you have it. The most precious moments in the movie.

Just kidding lar. Watch it if you haven't watch. Watch it again if you already watch it but this time in Imax.

Steamboat Buffet

This is actually what happen back on Thursday night. Couldn't find the time to resize the pictures and upload it to Photobucket. But, hey it's the weekend now, Saturday to be precise. I have all the time in the world to do this now. Don't think i'm a pathetic lonely nerd who never got to go out from my room during weekends. I'm not pathetic. Lonely maybe, nerd a little but totally not pathetic. I'm here this Saturday because i'm going for KingKong tomorrow. Will update about it later after it really happened.

For now, let's talk about the famous steamboat buffet located opposite Hakka Village Restaurant in Serdang. Yeah, that place, again. I know. I didn't make the decission, okay. It wasn't me, i'm not pointing finger to anyone but it's absolutely not me. I don't get to make the call. My role that night was a friend who tag along, as well as a driver, as well as a photographer, as well as a bodyguard. Yeah, busy night, i know. That's what a cool guy like me got to do most of the time. I'm not a nerd.

First of all, let me introduce the main characters of the day. From left, Lily, Bong, Jane & Amanda.
The Gals

Posing at the table when we just want to start the dinner. When the table is still clean. When we are still starving.
The Gals again

Here's how things look like when the raw food is just dumped into the pot, and we are waiting for it to boil. Of course we can do the grilling but then i wanted to take a "starter" picture first.
Getting Started

I'm sure everyone is familiar with these yellow ball, rite? No it's not durian ice-cream. Aiyor, come on lar. I thought you're smart. Don't know what's that meh?
Durian Ice-cream?

Whoa, the food got ready so fast. Look at all the colouful mouth-watering, waist fattening, face-sweating, wallet-drenching food inside the pot. Can't stop the temptation to stuff everything into my mouth & go for another round. Yummy! Actually till today i'm still felling full. Damn it!
~~Itadakimasu~~!!

A bigger picture you that you can properly see their face. This is Bong.
Bong

This is Lily.
Lily

This is Amanda.
Amanda

This is Jane.
Jane

Look at them. They looked like they don't know i'm taking a picture of them. Actually they are aware of it. Some more can act so natural wor. Professional models i guess they are.

This is them posing with "Lai Liu Har" and Baby Tomato.
The Gals again & again
Again? Where am i?

I've got to show you this. Scallops. So BIG!! Idon't get to eat oyster, so mer eat scallops first lor. Hehe....
Scallops
Scallops also

I'm the only guy that night. I don't eat much everyone knows that. So it's the Gals who gobbled down most of the food laid on the table that night. I mean, look at that stack of plates. It was full of food but now they stacked it up to tell how much we've eaten. Amazing isn't it?
Burrp...!!

Here they are posing at Lily's car when we were leaving. Everyone was so full, we can barely walk straight. We ate a full 3 hours at least.
1, 2, 3, 4

So that's about it. The summary of the whole night. But here's a compliment. A picture of Jane which i took while she was taking food. I think it's kinda nice to shoot it this way. You know, my style ain't shooting people. I'm more towards special stuffs. So this is something different from the different things i usually do.
Lovely Jane

Await updates on KingKong. I know lar a lot of people watched it already, so if i say i'm going to watch it also there's nothing special about it. So, i'm gonna tell you guys a bit where i'm going to watch it tomorrow.

Here.

ps~Remember to feed oinky when u finish reading my entries ya. I want to pump him to be fatter.

Tongue-Twisters

I ponder about something very mou-liu (nonsense) today. I thought of tongue-twisters. I was like thinking whole day about what to write for my blog today, but no idea at all. I wanted to write about sex, but you know lar, i'm a below average Malaysian (refer my SEX article). So with my below average sexperience, i don't dare to write anything about this matter lar. So many sifu out there. Later i say something that makes me looks like a little boy. Damn pai seh lar. So better keep my mouth shut on this matter in the public lor.

Well, this inspiration to do some tongue-twisting action also comes from the stupid HK movie i watch last night with my housemates. The fella said something very damn confusing in Canto, which is also a tongue-twisting statement. So, voila. Here's this post.

In case you don't know what is a tongue-twister i would firstly like to make some clarification. NO, it's nothing near to French kissing your girlfriend. NO, it's not about tongue-twister your girlfriend's you-know-where, and definitely, NO, it's not about disgusting stuffs you are thinking. Tongue-twister are different words with similar pronunciation put together to form a meaningful phrase just for the sake of making you confuse. *LOL*

Don't mind the explaination lar. Just try to read the examples below as fast as you can. I repeat. READ THE LINES BELOW AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

Have fun.

A skunk sat on a stump and thunk the stump stunk,
but the stump thunk the skunk stunk.

*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*

A big black bug bit a big black bear,
made the big black bear bleed blood.

She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,
and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would
if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*

You've no need to light a night-light
On a light night like tonight,
For a night-light's light's a slight light,
And tonight's a night that's light.
When a night's light, like tonight's light,
It is really not quite right
To light night-lights with their slight lights
On a light night like tonight.

Betty Botter had some butter,
"But," she said, "this butter's bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
it would make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter--
that would make my batter better."

So she bought a bit of butter,
better than her bitter butter,
and she baked it in her batter,
and the batter was not bitter.
So 'twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.

*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*

Mr. See owned a saw.
And Mr. Soar owned a seesaw.
Now See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw
Before Soar saw See,
Which made Soar sore.
Had Soar seen See's saw
Before See sawed Soar's seesaw,
See's saw would not have sawed
Soar's seesaw.
So See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw.
But it was sad to see Soar so sore
Just because See's saw sawed
Soar's seesaw!

*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*

I know i had my share of fun reading those. So how about you? Here's something i put up in Canto.

Yao ban Pokai, (a bunch of Pokai)
Zhu hai Kuk-kai, (live in Kuk street)
Jun tui yan chut kai, (like to push people off the road)
Dim gai lei ban Pokai wui hai Kuk-kai tui yan chut kai? (Why these Pokai push people off the road in Kuk Street?)
Hai mm hai Kuk-kai jun chut tui yan chut gai geh Pokai? (is it Kuk Street develop Pokai who push people off the road?)
Wat jeh hai dit tui yan chut gai geh Pokai jung yi jui hai Kuk-kai? (or is it the Pokai who like to push people off the road like to gather at Kuk Street?)

*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*-------*

Not much lar but then it felt so funny in the movie. Maybe that's why he's a star and i'm not. Anyway, practice makes perfect. Try it more & you'll be surprise how good you'll be.

Naked Woman Doing Ear Squat in Custody

I'm pretty sure most of us had already read about this news or saw it on TV or might even just watched the clip yourself. After so many weeks of dispute, uproars caused by the fact that a Chinese national was captured on film, digitally speaking with a cellphone, doing ear squat in full nudity during police custody. This was at the front page for a full week when this matter was bring to public. Okay, i don't want to repeat what everyone already knows, but in case you haven't read the newspaper today, here's something new.

"Nude woman in ear squats video clip is a local Malay"

Well, now that's something new right? If you don't believe the fact, try reading Here, here and here.

Yeah, right.

Well, now. Open for discussion. What do you think? There was a total of 12 winesses that had testified so far but yet, no one stood up to tell the truth when this bloody thing gets messy and caused such a stir, up until the Chinese government was already planning to ban their people from coming to Malaysia (i mean literally lar). So, why not even one person stood up to clarify the girl in the video clip was a local?

I mean, there was already the stir when 4 Chinese ladies was caught and forced to do a strip search, more or less when this video clip emerged. Although later on it was proven that none of them was the person in the clip, but still, none had rise up to tell the story. So, how come?

Now, there was this policeman who was shown the clip by his friend after the friend captured the video. His statement was:

Quote: "He showed, so I watched," he said, prompting panel chairman Tun Mohamed Dzaiddin Abdullah to ask him: “Satisfied?”

Well, i mean i mght not sound right or you might say "Aiyah, friends where will bocor friends wan?". I understand also lar, i mean i won't go poke my friends back to tell on him also lar. But wait a minute, okay? He's a policeman. He was one of the many heroes of Malaysia who was given the authority to uphold the justice in our country. So now he's exempted because his friend was the peeping tom? Is this the kind of behaviour that we want for a righteous police force? Our PDRM?

No, that's not it. He also said:

Quote:
“I wanted to identify the place in the video clip, so I viewed it twice. I thought it looked familiar.”

He viewed it twice so that he can identify the place. So? Ham-sap say lar, pretend some more wor. Really, ding lei mm shun lor.

Okay lar, i get back to the point. I mean, suddenly there is so many witnesses willing to testify on the case, and suddenly so many people wana become gold-finger. All this after there was a commission set up to purposely investigate this matter. Is this to prove that the Malaysian police force needs to do twice the work to find out the truth? Or are they just reluctant? Or is the really the truth?

I'm not a politician. I don't want to talk about sensitive issues here. Someone mentioned that this might
"helped defuse the furore aroused by the incident on the part of the Chinese Government and people that the police were profiling Chinese visitors and tourists." So, it this just a cover up so that the Chinese government would shut-up and continue to let Malaysia earn their money? China is a big market you know? Who would not want a piece of the meat, rite?

Now, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against the standard procedure of the police task force. I have nothing against doing ear-squat naked either. But the fact that the standard procedure of the strip-search was supposed to be done in isolation, and yet a video clip was managed to be captured. This ain't standard. This is a scandal. This is a humiliation towards the Police DiRaja Malaysia.

But, of course. After i vent out my frustration towars some irresponsible minority of the police force, i would love to talk about neutrality as well. If this is up till court with ample evidence & witnesses, how can this be not true? If you dare to say it's not the truth, then do you know the whole truth? If you know then why didn't you stood up and testify against them?

I know lar now not many people so angry jor because the news released say that the woman in the clip is not a Chinese. So many people don't care much about the news anymore also. This is not a matter of what race the woman in the clip is. It's about the disrespect of the police force by no other but those we trust to uphold the justice of our nation, the police force themselves. Utter disgrace! I really hope that after this matter had dissolved, the Royal Malaysian Police Force will be more aware of the discipline within the police force. Please don't humiliate yourself, and foremost, don't humiliate Malaysia in front of the world.

Want to post the lyrics for a very nice song. This song is by Bob Carlisle, Butterfly Kisses. Not a new song as well, but I would just like to remind everyone of this nice song so it will not be forgotten. Read the lyrics & enjoy the beautiful meaning behind it. If you got the song, listen to it, sing along with it. If you don't find it because it's really a nice song.

Butterfly Kisses-Bob Carlisle

There's two things I know for sure:
She was sent here from heaven and she's
daddy's little girl.
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night
She talks to Jesus and I close my eyes and
I thank god for all the joy in my life
Oh, but most of all
For butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer;
sticking little white flowers all up in her
hair; "Walk beside the pony, Daddy, it's my first ride."
"I know the cake looks funny, Daddy, but I sure tried."
In all that I've done wrong I know I must
have done something right to deserve a hug
every morning and butterfly kisses at night.

Sweet 16 today
She's looking like her mama a little more everyday
One part woman, the other part girl.
To perfume and make-up from ribbons and curls
Trying her wings out in a great big world.

But I remember
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer; sticking
little white flowers all up in her hair.
"You know how much I love you, Daddy, But if you
don't mind I'm only gonna kiss you on the cheek this time."
With all that I've done wrong I must have done
something right to deserve her love every morning
and butterfly kisses at night.

All the precious time
Like the wind, the years go by.
Precious butterfly.
Spread your wings and fly.

She'll change her name today.
She'll make a promise and I'll give her away.
Standing in the bride-room just staring at her.
She asked me what I'm thinking and I said "I'm not
sure-I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl."
She leaned over & gave me butterfly kisses with her mama there,
Sticking little white flowers all up in her hair
"Walk my down the aisle, Daddy-it's just about time."
"Does my wedding gown look pretty, Daddy? Daddy, don't cry!"

Oh, with all that I've done wrong I must have
done something right.
To deserve your love every morning and butterfly
kisses-I couldn't ask God for more, man this is what love is.

I know I gotta let her go, but I'll always remember
every hug in the morning and butterfly kisses.

So, from the lyrics it's obvious what the song is about rite? So gals, please be more aware of your dads' emotions & feelings when you get married someday ya. Be sweet to them, okay? Whereas guys, don't think of being a father so soon, okay. I mean DON'T be a father so soon. You are still young, alrite?

Simple Plan-Crazy

This isn't a new song and they aren't a new band too. I'm sure many of us knows Simple Plan rite? Well, nothing much to talk about them but their music. I personally like this song, Crazy. The reason to that is the lyrics itself. It reflects so much about the world today. I'm not going to upload the song here so you can listen to it. Get the CD yourself, if not just turn on your BT & download it. It's just that easy.

Simple Plan

Still Not Getting Any, 2004
Crazy by Simple Plan

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look, I see
Young girls dying to be on TV
They won't stop till they've reached their dreams

Diet pills, surgery
Photoshopped pictures in magazines
Telling them how they should be
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on?
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

I guess things are not how they used to be
There's no more normal families
Parents act like enemies
Making kids feel like it's World War III

No one cares, no one's there
I guess we're all just too damn busy
And money's our first priority
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on?
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy?
Is everybody going crazy?

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Rich guys driving big SUVs
While kids are starving in the streets

No one cares
No one likes to share
I guess life's unfair

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on?
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something, something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on?
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

Simple Plan got another album this year (2005), MTV Hard Rock Live, featuring 14 of the best soundtrack they have produce over the years. Yes, Crazy is in the album list as well as Welcome To My Life & Untitled. Enjoy~~

The Apprentice

It's already down to final 2 in this 13 weeks job interview. NO, it's not Survivor. Survivors sucks anyway, & NO, it's not Amazing Race either, although Amazing Race rocks. It's The Apprentice season 4. It's winners take all, losers go home scenario now with Randal & Rebecca left in the game. So who will be the next apprentice?

In case you don't know who this 2 person is, here's a little information about them.

Randal
Randal, 34, is the founder, president and CEO of his fifth venture "BCT Partners," a multi-million dollar management, technology and policy consulting firm based in Newark, N.J., that works with corporations, government agencies, philanthropic and nonprofit organizations.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Hightstown, N.J., he holds five academic degrees in engineering, business and technology including a B.S. from Rutgers University, an M.S. from the University of Oxford in England as a Rhodes Scholar, and an M.S., M.B.A. and Ph.D. from MIT. A former college championship track and field athlete, he has received numerous awards for his accomplishments as an entrepreneur and technologist including the National Society of Black Engineers "National Member of the Year."

A Leadership New Jersey Fellow and Next Generation Leadership Fellow, Randal has been featured by Black Enterprise magazine and Ebony magazine in their "30 Leaders of the Future" issue. He is a proud member of First Baptist Church in Somerset, N.J., where he resides and is happily married to his wife Zahara.

Randal is representing team Excel in his final task. Up till now, all the task he took up as project manager had secure a win for him, with a record of 100% winning rate. I know i'm his supporter up till now.

Rebecca
Rebecca, 23, was named "One of 20 Teens Who Will Change the World" by Teen People magazine in February 2000 and was awarded a Point of Light by President Clinton. She graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, earning degrees in economics and pre-law.

As a Chicago-based investment banker, she structured mergers and acquisitions, as well as equity and debt transactions. Prior to that, she traded short-term interest rate options on Citigroup's foreign exchange desk in London.

Outside of business, Rebecca founded a non-profit organization, raising over $750,000 to support disenfranchised children. In conjunction with this effort, she lobbied state and federal government officials, speaking at a wide range of national conferences and sharing the stage with Al Gore and Colin Powell, among others. She also reported on-air, wrote and helped produce hard news, features, and entertainment segments for a weekly show on an NBC affiliate in her hometown of Minneapolis. She is currently a financial journalist in Chicago.

Rebecca is representing team Capital Edge in her final task. Although with a record not as remarkable as Randal, but her on-spot performance so far is magnificent. Having difficulties to walk throughout the episodes (she tripped while playing ice-hockey), she endures it & challenged herself to stay on. Truly someone with a strong will.

Now, with episode 13 released already, there's only 1 more episode left to wait for, i think. So who will you vote for? Who do you think Donald Trump will hire as his next apprentice?
